There are 42 Members of the Legislative Council elected by the people of New South Wales with the whole State as one electorate. The current House has a very diverse membership. There are 19 Government members, 15 Opposition members and 8 Cross-bench members, giving neither the Government nor the Opposition an outright majority of members in the Upper House. More...
